We were hired to create a digital appendix to the article 'Caravanserais on the route from Lar to Bandar'Abbas', which is published on paper in an academic journal.

This was very different to anything we'd done before, and we enjoyed the challenge. The website needed to reflect the serious tone of the paper, so we had to keep it as simple as possible while also creating something that would be engaging and readable for the user. The result is a collection of crisp, minimalist pages that reflect the style of the academic journal in which the original article is printed.
